TL;DR
- Lamar Jackson missed Wednesday practice with knee soreness, similar to last week.
- Jackson returned to practice Thursday and Friday last week, leading Ravens to a win.
- Ravens hope Jackson will play Sunday against the struggling Jets, who start Tyrod Taylor.
- Jackson's absence on Wednesday causes some concern for the Ravens' upcoming games.
The Baltimore Ravens did this last week.
Lamar Jackson sat out Wednesday's practice with what was listed as knee soreness, then was back on the field Thursday and Friday before leading the Ravens to a Sunday win in Cleveland.
Ravens fans are hoping that's what is happening now, too.
Because again on Wednesday, Jackson isn't practicing.

Earlier in the season, he sat out three matches due to a hamstring issue, though his knee problem last week was reportedly unconnected.
And as last week proved, there's lots of time for Jackson to get up to speed for this week still.
Ideally, a quarterback would be present at every practice session, which is a cause for at least some worry.
This Sunday, the Ravens will face the Jets, who are struggling this season. The New York team has confirmed Tyrod Taylor will be their starting quarterback, replacing Justin Fields.

Baltimore faces a swift turnaround ahead. Following their Sunday game, the Ravens will compete in a significant divisional matchup on Thanksgiving night against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Ravens would prefer to have Jackson playing against Cincy, a matchup that might see Joe Burrow make his return for The Bengals.
As things stand, last week's actions suggest Jackson will be fine to face the Jets.
However, his not being present on Wednesday does cause some concern, at least to a small degree, as the remainder of the week progresses towards Sunday.
