The Atlanta Falcons have been dealt a pair of injury blows on the offensive side of the ball with quarterback Michael Penix Jr. And wide receiver Drake London.
Penix suffered a knee injury in the Week 11 loss to the Carolina Panthers that has now been diagnosed as a partially torn ACL, the team announced on Wednesday. He will miss the rest of the 2025 campaign.
As for London, he also suffered a knee injury in Week 11, although it isn't thought to be a significant injury and he will indeed play again this season.
However, that doesn't mean he'll be ready to go in Week 12. Here's the latest injury update from the Falcons.
Will Drake London play in Week 12?
According to Tori McElhaney of AtlantaFalcons.com, head coach Raheem Morris stated that London is unlikely to play in Week 12.
"Raheem Morris said he does not expect Drake London to play this weekend in New Orleans," McElhaney reported.
"You have to protect Drake from Drake, too, sometimes," Morris said of his wide receiver.
London's was initially labeled as week to week with a PCL issue, so it won't be a surprise if he misses more than one game.
Who is Drake London's handcuff?
With London sidelined, Darnell Mooney becomes the Falcons' top wide receiver and is a viable lineup option in fantasy football, especially after he had one of the best seasons of his career in 2024 with Kirk Cousins throwing him the rock.
Along with Mooney, the Falcons will need more out of tight end Kyle Pitts, although he doesn't have a good track record with Cousins.
Beyond those two, Casey Washington and David Sills could both see more looks, but neither one is a suggested lineup option moving forward.
