The Atlanta Falcons lost wide receiver Drake London and quarterback Michael Penix Jr. To injury in the Week 11 game against the Carolina Panthers.
London suffered a knee injury that kept him out of action in overtime of Sunday's loss. Meanwhile, Penix Jr. Also left the game early with a knee issue that led to Atlanta deploying Kirk Cousins.
Now, all eyes will be on the Falcons' young stars over the course of the week ahead of their Week 12 matchup with the New Orleans Saints.
Here are the latest injury updates on both players.
Will Drake London play in Week 12?
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, London has avoided a significant injury, but he's slated to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine if he'll miss any time.
"Falcons WR Drake London’s knee injury is not thought to be overly serious, and he is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury and how much time he will miss, if any, per sources," Schefter wrote.
Based on Schefter's reporting, it appears London at least has a chance to play in Week 12.
Will Michael Penix Jr. Play in Week 12?
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Penix Jr. Aggravated the knee injury he suffered earlier in the season, which was a bone bruise. Rapoport adds there is a "concern" the Falcons quarterback will "miss some time."
"Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr is believed to have aggravated the same knee injury as earlier in the season, per me and Tom Pelissero," Rapoport wrote. "That bone bruise in the same knee kept him out one game. More tests coming, but there is concern he’ll miss some time."
As Rapoport notes, Penix Jr. Missed a game earlier this season with his knee injury, so it would appear there is a good chance the second-year signal-caller doesn't suit up in Week 12.
