The Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons close out Week 17 on Monday night. Ahead of kickoff, both wide receivers Drake London and Davante Adams are uncertain to play.
London was once again on the injury report this week with a knee issue he has been battling for several weeks now. The star wideout logged three limited practices before earning the questionable tag for Week 17.
Meanwhile, Adams is hampered by a hamstring issue he re-aggravated a few weeks back. The veteran's outlook is more bleak than London's, as Adams didn't practice this week before drawing the dreaded doubtful tag.
Here's the latest on both star wideouts ahead of Monday.
Will Davante Adams play in Week 17?
While Adams has not been ruled out yet, he is listed as doubtful, which means he is highly unlikely to play on Monday night.
We have seen players overcome the doubtful tag in years past, but that is extremely rare and betting on that happening with Adams is a very risky proposition, especially when he didn't play on the doubtful tag last week.
Don't take that plunge. Find a replacement for Adams.
Will Drake London play in Week 17?
Despite the questionable tag, London is expected to play on Monday night.
On Saturday, Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said he feels "great" about London playing against the Rams.
We'll get final word on London's status an hour and a half before kickoff on Monday night.
It's usually risky to wait on a player who is questionable and playing on Monday night, but all signs point to London playing and he is worth waiting for.
If you want a contingency plan, go pick up Darnell Mooney, who will serve as the Falcons' WR1 if London ultimately gets ruled out.
