We haven't seen Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. Play in each of the last two games.

That's because Harrison unexpectedly had to undergo a procedure for appendicitis, which has kept him out of practice and games for two weeks.

As we turn the page to Week 13, Harrison's status remains up in the air.

Here's what we know about his status for Sunday.

Will Marvin Harrison Jr. Return in Week 13?

There is no clear answer to this question yet.

When asked about Harrison's status for Week 13 on Monday, Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon didn't offer much of an update.

“When he’s physically and mentally healthy to play, he’ll play," Gannon said, according to Bo Brack of PHNX Cardinals.

It looks like we'll have to make an educated guess.

As Fantasy Guides points out, three players have had the same issue as Harrison in recent years, a list that includes Ben Roethlisberger, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Austin Hooper. Only Hooper missed multiple games and he returned after sitting out two.

That would suggest that Harrison has a good chance to return this week, so we'd put him at a better than 50/50 shot.

We'll know more on Wednesday, when the Cardinals release their first injury report of the week. Any semblance of practice participation would be a great sign for his chances of suiting up.

While Harrison has been absence, fellow wideout Michael Wilson has stepped up in a big way, reeling in 25 catches for 303 yards.

Gannon said Wilson needs to keep being involved in the offense, even when Harrison returns.

So, the second-year wideout might have more competition for targets upon his return, which will only make the situation more crowded when you consider the Cardinals' passing attack also includes star tight end Trey McBride.
