The Arizona Cardinals have a really weird quarterback situation on their hands.

An initial injury to Kyler Murray pressed Jacoby Brissett into action. And then Brissett started slinging the ball around the yard and playing very well.

It has created some controversy, and now injury is set to keep Murray out for a while longer.

There's a lot of uncertainty over who will be the Cardinals' QB in 2026, and even later this season.

When is Kyler Murray coming back?

Kyler Murray can't be back until at least Week 14.

Sunday marks Week 10 for the Cardinals on Nov. 9.

Murray was placed on Injured Reserve in the lead up to Week 10, and so he has to miss at minimum four games.

Brissett will start in the meantime.

“When we put a guy on IR, that’s four weeks away,” GM Monti Ossenfort said on local radio in Arizona. “A lot of things can happen between now and then. I think Jacoby has done a great job of leading our offense. We’re expecting more of the same moving forward. But Jacoby’s put himself in a good spot for where we’re going offensively. When Kyler gets healthy … we’ll assess when we get to that point.”

That's not exactly a ringing endorsement for Kyler.
