The Arizona Cardinals' running backs room has been in flux since the team saw Trey Benson suffer an injury that landed him on injured reserve.
First, it looked like Michael Carter would lead the backfield. Then, it was Bam Knight, and last week it was Emari Demercado.
Just when we thought we had a handle on things in Week 10, Demercado has been quiet early on in the contest against the Los Angeles Rams.
Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Emari Demercado playing today?
Yes, Demercado is active, but the Cardinals started the game with Bam Knight as the lead back over the first two drives.
Hopefully Demercado gets going soon.
Is Michael Carter playing today?
Yes, Carter is active for Arizona, he just hasn't seen the field over the team's first two drives.
Meanwhile, Bam Knight has been the lead back in that span, including over Demercado.
As has been the case since Benson's injury, it looks like we're in for a mess on Sunday.
