We have injury updates on Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. And running back Trey Benson out of the team's practice on Thursday, and neither update is good news.

According to Dani Sureck of AZCardinals.com, neither Harrison nor Benson were at practice on Thursday, marking the second-straight day this week that neither one has taken part.

For Benson, who is still on injured reserve due to a knee injury, he has now missed four practices in a row after being a limited participant in practice twice last week.

That has led to fears that Benson may have suffered a setback, although the team has not said that is the case.

"Gannon won’t use that term (setback). Continues to say Benson is evaluated day by day. Since he’s already on IR, next big step is next week. Deadline to put him on roster approaches," Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com wrote.

As for Harrison, he returned in Week 13 following an appendectomy that knocked him out for two games, but he sustained a heel injury upon his return.

On Monday, head coach Jonathan Gannon equated Harrison's heel issue with the one cornerback Max Melton suffered that kept him out of the Week 13 contest.

"I know Max Melton didn't go this last week because of a heel, kind of a similar injury," Gannon said on Arizona Sports Radio. "You watch him run and he's running great, butt hen when he walks or he jogs, it doesn't look great... It's a tough injury because it's on his foot. Anytime he puts pressure on his foot, it's tough."

At this point, we can pretty much lock Benson in for another absence, barring a miracle.

Harrison has one more day to get back to practice on Friday, but it certainly isn't looking good for him.
