Penn State vs. UCLA predictions, how to watch, odds, spread image

The Penn State Nittany Lions are taking on the UCLABruins this Saturday in a Big 10 showdown. Penn State comes into this matchup 3-1 after a thrilling OT loss to the Oregon Ducks last Saturday, dropping the Nittany Lions to No. 7 in the antion.

UCLA is still searching for its first win of the season at 0-4, and will come into this contest with a new head coach. Penn State came up short in last week's game as they often have under James Franklin in top 10 showdowns.

However, this week's matchup should be more in Penn State's favor, as they are big favorites to pick up their 4th win, and first in Big 10 play. Let's get into the betting markets.

Penn State vs. UCLA predictions and best bet

Prediction: Penn State covers 24.5

While Penn State hasn't been the best team at covering the spread this season, I like them to flex their muscles a bit in this one against a much inferior team under a lot of turmoil at this moment. Penn State is 0-4 against the spread, but this is a great time for them to try to even that number out. Penn State's game plan is to run it down their throats and then take the top off with a few explosive plays.

Best bet: Kyron Hudson anytime TD (+150)

Kyron Hudson did not play in last Saturday's game against Oregon, but he's certainly a focal point of the Nittany Lions' offense, and as I just mentioned, if Penn State has a good amount of explosive plays, expect Hudson to be involved and find the endzone.
