The Dallas Cowboys traded Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers, allowing the former Penn State star to get the massive deal he was looking for after the trade.
However, while Parsons is expected to be a huge piece of the Packers for a very long time, questions remain about the severity of his back injury. Parsons was on a snap count during the Packers' win on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, but made his presence felt.
Regardless of how well he played, back injuries are always tricky, and something that no team wants to hear that its new player is dealing with.
Will Micah Parsons Play Week 2?
Parsons told reporters after their win that he didn't have to get an injection to play on Sunday.
While he needs to get fully healthy, it's a promising sign to hear that it’s not to the point where he needs to get an injection to play.
"Micah Parsons said he didn't need an injection to play Sunday and he expects to be 'full go' by the end of this month," Zach Kruse posted on X.

There will be plenty of time to get Parsons healthy, so if the Packers want to continue to have him on a snap count over the next few weeks, it makes plenty of sense.
It might not be easy to win in some games, but the most important factor for the Packers here is reaching the playoffs healthy.
If they have Parsons and the rest of their guys ready to go, Green Bay has a legitimate chance of winning at all.
