The Green Bay Packers are beginning a new era in the green and yellow after acquiring linebacker Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys.
The former Penn State standout was traded from teams in a deal that included the Packers sending two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark in exchange for Micah Parsons. He then would agree to a four-year, $188 million extension with the new team.
Heading into Week 1 of the NFL season, Parsons made his debut with his new team despite having a questionable status heading into the weekend. He's been steadily recovering from a joint sprain in his back.

Green Bay came out dominantly, beating their NFC North rival, the Detroit Lions, with a final score of 27-13.
After the game, Parsons was accompanied by starting quarterback Jordan Love in an interview with Tracy Wolfson of CBS Sports.
"I'm not going to lie, I was a little tired. The snap count was probably justified, but overall I thought we played really well," Parsons said.
When asked about walking out of the tunnel in his first game wearing a Packers' uniform, Parsons responded, saying, "It gave me chills... This was really just a blessing in disguise. My man J. Love told me it'd be this nice, and nothing he could have said, I couldn't imagine it to be like this."

Despite playing in just 29 snaps in his Packers debut, Parsons was able to register one sack on four quarterback pressures. Green Bay held a stacked Detroit Lions' offense to 246 total yards and just one touchdown.
Parsons, Love, and the Packers will move on to play another top NFC team as they host the Washington Commanders in Week 2.
