James Madison vs. Oregon injury updates: Friday availability report released image

The Friday availability report suggests neither side will be at full strength when 5-seed Oregon Ducks hosts 12-seed James Madison Dukes on Saturday night in the opening round of the College Football Playoff.

Oregon enters at 11-1 and seeking a deeper postseason run after last year’s first-round exit, but the Ducks list 10 players on the report, including four wide receivers.

Gary Bryant Jr., Sione Laulea, Trey McNutt and Dakorien Moore are all questionable, while Kyler Kasper, Justius Lowe and Evan Stewart are out or doubtful. Running back Da’Jaun Riggs and offensive lineman Gernorris Wilson are also out.

The injuries could test Oregon’s passing depth behind quarterback Dante Moore, even as the Ducks lean on a rushing attack that ranks 13th nationally.

James Madison, 12-1 and making its first CFP appearance, is without linebackers Brandon Fique and Lee Johnson, offensive lineman Cam McNair and defensive back Jamal Olford. Defensive lineman Immanuel Bush is listed as probable.

Oregon coach Dan Lanning knows execution will matter Saturday night against a Dukes defense allowing just 15.8 points per game. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT, HBO Max and TruTV.
