Hall of Fame quarterback believes Dillon Gabriel is the 'answer' for Browns image

The Cleveland Browns nearly snuck out a win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1.

After holding Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense to seven yards in the second half, Joe Flacco and the Browns were unable to capitalize and ended up suffering a gut-wrenching 17-16 loss mired by turnovers and missed kicks.

Even though it's been only one start, analysts and fans alike are already side-eyeing Flacco following his 290-yard, one-touchdown, two-interception performance. Is one of the Browns' rookies the answer at quarterback?

Terry Bradshaw Believes Dillon Gabriel is the 'Answer' at QB for the Browns

Following Cleveland's loss to the Bengals on Sunday, Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw revealed what he thought the Browns should be doing at the quarterback position on the FOX NFL Sunday show.

"Cleveland are not happy. They got to go with Flacco - a 40-year-old quarterback. But since 1999 there have been 40 different starting quarterbacks in Cleveland. You show me a winning organization, I'll show you a head coach who has a great quarterback." Said Bradshaw via The Express.

"They don't have that in Cleveland. I think Dillon Gabriel, the third-round pick out of Oregon, is the answer. Maybe I thought Pickett was - they moved him out to Las Vegas with the Raiders. Cleveland, Flacco, I like Flacco but look for Dillon to come in early."

Bradshaw, who knows what it takes to be a winning quarterback in the NFL, could be spot on with his analysis here.

Flacco had the opportunity to guide Cleveland on a game-winning drive in the final minutes, and instead threw an interception that put the game on ice for Cincinnati.

The 40-year-old veteran turned the ball over twice on Sunday, and who's to say Dillon Gabriel, the Browns' former Oregon Duck and Heisman finalist, wouldn't have fared the same against the Bengals?

If Cleveland is going to lose games this year, it might as well be with one of their rookie quarterbacks under center, so they can at least see what they have in their youngsters on the roster. At this rate, they're just wasting reps on Flacco.
