When will Lane Kiffin announce his decision? Ole Miss coach reveals timeline for staying or leaving choice image

Lane Kiffin and his Ole Miss football team picked up an Egg Bowl victory on Black Friday over Mississippi State.

Now it's decision time: Will he stay or will he go?

Kiffin could continue on as the Rebels' head coach.

He could also leave and coach LSU.

The initial suggestion was that Kiffin would have a decision on Friday, but that no longer appears to be the case.

When will Lane Kiffin announce his decision?

Kiffin told reporters after Friday's game that he'll decide on Saturday what he's going to do.

The Ole Miss athletics director Keith Carter and chancellor Glenn Boyce have indicated that's when they want an answer by.

"Yeah, I haven't (made up my mind)," Kiffin said. "Maybe that surprises you. But, you know, I've got to do some praying and figure this thing out."

Kiffin had some other plans first. His son, Knox Kiffin, had a playoff game as a QB for Oxford High School on Friday night.

"Tonight, I'm going to go be a dad and watch a more important game to me," Kiffin said.

Kiffin added that he's not sure exactly when on Saturday it'll happen.

"It's a hard decision," he said. "You guys have them all the time. You've gotta make decisions about jobs you take and where you move, and we get paid a lot so I understand we're under a lot of spotlight and scrutiny."

Kiffin's decision will certainly have a domino effect, one way or the other.
