Charlie Weis Jr. Got to watch his dad do it.
Now, it's son trying to be like father.
Weis Jr. Is the offensive coordinator for Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff semifinal against Miami. He'll be leaving for LSU to join Lane Kiffin when the CFP ends.
The lessons learned have certainly helped Weis Jr., who is calling plays for QB phenom Trinidad Chambliss.
The father Weis called plays for the Patriots with Tom Brady at quarterback, and he was head coach at Notre Dame.

It's a busy time for Weis Jr. Between coaching a team in the CFP and trying to get his recruiting going with LSU.
His father chimed in about that on X:
I get my football fix following my son. Not much excitement right now. OC at 2 schools, college football semifinals, recruiting for LSU, traveling back & forth. Add in NFL teams wanting him as well. Like I said, not much going on. Hotty Toddy! Geaux Tigers!

It must be a hectic time in the Weis family.
It also must be cool and quite fun, though.
