Love is in the air folks—even during an Ole Miss football game. The Rebels defeated The Citadel 49-0 on Saturday afternoon, moving Ole Miss to a 9-1 mark on the season.

Although the game itself wasn't all that exciting, there was another highlight—an Ole Miss fan proposing to his girlfriend on the field. In typical Lane Kiffin fashion, the Ole Miss head coach had a classic photo bomb for the happy couple.

The proposal happened late in the fourth quarter.

According to the SEC Network broadcast, the proposal was done by Drew O'Conner, who is a former Rebel pole vaulter. During a television timeout, it appeared as though O'Connor was attempting to kick a field goal, with his girlfriend as the holder.

But there was no field goal attempt—instead, O'Connor got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, who looked completely caught off guard. The best part? The happy couple got a congratulatory photo bomb from none other than Lane Kiffin:

After the game, Kiffin told reporters that him sharing a small part in the proposal was unscripted:

The surprise proposal was likely one of the most exciting parts of Saturday's game. The Rebels led 35-0 at halftime, and added two more scores in the second half. Rebel quarterback Trinidad Chambliss finished with 333 yard passing and three touchdowns.
