Brian Hartline is leaving.
But the Ohio State Buckeyes didn't lose top wide receiver recruit Chris Henry Jr., who signed on national early signing day despite the departure of OSU's top recruiter and WR guru to become the head coach at USF.
Henry was committed to the Buckeyes longer than any high-ranking recruit in his class, and in the end, he didn't waver.

Who is Chris Henry Jr.?
Chris Henry Jr. Is a Class of 2026 wide receiver, a five-star recruit, who has committed to play his college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Henry began his high school career at West Clermont High School in Batavia, Ohio. He played at Withrow High School in Cincinnati in his sophomore season.
For his junior and senior years, Henry headed out to California to play for powerhouse Mater Dei.

Henry is ranked the No. 7 overall recruit in the country by ESPN.
In the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Henry is No. 10 in the country among all players.

Who did Ohio State win Chris Henry Jr. Over?
The other two options late in the game, according to the ESPN post from above, were Oregon and USC.
Oklahoma had also recruited Henry hard.
He had already landed a number of scholarship offers before playing a varsity football snap, including the Buckeyes, Grambling State, UConn, West Virginia, Marshall and Akron.
In the end, Henry is heading to Columbus.
