Notre Dame is looking to turn things aroundas it heads on the road to take on Arkansas. The Fighting Irish are 1-2 this season after two tough losses in the first three weeks of the season.
However, last week Notre Dame got back on track by beating Purdue 50-36. The Fighting Irish will now take on a 2-2 Arkansas Razorbacks team that is coming off a loss against Memphis, in a game Arkansas probably should have won. This week, Notre Dame comes in as the slight favorite, and let's get into some of the game details and the betting market.

The Fighting Irish playoff odds may be out the window unless they run the table and get some added help from the rest of the college football landscape.

Notre Dame vs. Arkansas prediction/best bet
Prediction: Notre Dame covers the -4.5
This line has moved up and down all week, but you aren't getting much value on Notre Dame to just win outright. Notre Dame hung 50 points on Purdue last week, and Arkansas gave up 30 to a group of four team in Memphis. I like Notre Dame to score a lot of points and see them winning by 7+. It's early in the season, but Notre Dame is a little more desperate in this spot and is starting to find its form. I'd also consider throwing a side bet on Notre Dame's team total points.
Best bet: Jordan Faison over 50.5 receiving yards (-114)
Jordan Faison emerged as freshman CJ Carr's top target in last week's contest against the Boilermakers, as he hauled in five catches for 105 yards. In the first two games, Faison did not meet the number of 51 receiving yards, but those were against better opponents. I expect Faison to be a lot more involved in the offense again this week, and for Carr to find him early and often in the game. If he's going to continue to average 20 yards per catch, this could cash early in the game.
