Bill Belichick had never allowed this combination of touchdowns in a full season as a head coach.

On Monday night, in his debut as the leader of the North Carolina Tar Heels, his UNC squad allowed a ridiculous combination of TDs all in one game.

TCU had two rushing touchdowns of 25-plus yards.

TCU had a passing touchdown of 25-plus yards.

TCU had an interception return touchdown of 25-plus yards.

And TCU had a fumble return touchdown of 25-plus yards.

According to OptaStats, Belichick had never given up that many long touchdowns in that arrangement in any year of his NFL time as a head coach.

But in his first game in college, that's what happened.

The Horned Frogs rolled to a 48-14 win.

It could hardly have been an uglier start to the Belichick era in Chapel Hill.

The stadium was filled with the biggest of big name celebrities, including Michael Jordan.

All the Tar Heels gave them was a night they'd like to forget.

The only people happy in the building were those wearing purple. It was a remarkable night in the spotlight for TCU and head coach Sonny Dykes.

They themselves might never have a game with so many long and varied touchdowns again. It was magical for the Horned Frogs, even if it was a nightmare for Belichick and UNC.
