The Wisconsin Badgers football program picked up some great recruiting news on Tuesday.

Qwantavius Wiggins, a talented running back, has flipped his commitment from Florida International to Wisconsin.

Wiggins is a 5-foot-11, 195-pound RB from Fairburn, Georgia. He originally committed to FIU in June.

The news was broken by On3's Hayes Fawcett, who shared Wiggins' message: "This is home, go Badgers."

Of note: Wiggins' nickname is "Fatboy."

While he doesn't fit that mold now, nicknames like that usually stem from early childhood, so maybe Wiggins was a chunky baby.

Wiggins is ranked as a 3-star recruit by the Rivals industry rankings. He slots in as the No. 52 RB in the Class of 2026 nationally. His offer list before committing to FIU also included Auburn, Florida State and USF.

FSU fans are annoyed already on social media because the Seminoles were trying to flip Wiggins, too.

Wisconsin recently expressed its commitment to head coach Luke Fickell for the 2026 season, which may have helped stabilize recruiting just a bit.

It's a tough loss for the FIU class, which would've been headlined by Wiggins but instead will have to go looking elsewhere for its RB of the future.
