The Toledo Rockets are in another bowl game. At this point, it's what they do.
This year, they get to play in the Boca Raton Bowl on Tuesday afternoon against the Louisville Cardinals out of the ACC.
Toledo is doing it shorthanded in a number of ways.
Head coach Jason Candle has left for UConn, and much of the staff has departed, too.
They'll also be without QB Tucker Gleason.
Almost the entirety of the rest of the Rockets' roster is playing, though, and they'll try and prove themselves against a quality opponent.
Gleason's absence will certainly be felt, though.
Why isn't Tucker Gleason playing today for Toledo?
Gleason hasn't left the program. Instead, he's out injured.
The veteran quarterback has multiple fractures in his back.
He shared more about dealing with the injury in this interview with BCSN:
Toledo QB Tucker Gleason will NOT play vs. Louisville due to multiple back fractures.
