This weekend, ESPN’s College GameDay took the show to Eugene, Oregon, to feature the third-ranked Oregon Ducks versus the seventh-ranked Indiana Hoosiers. Both teams stand at 5-0 heading into this afternoon's game. The crowd was electric this morning as College GameDay took over Eugene.
An Oregon student misses out on a one-million-dollar kick attempt.
It could’ve been wild. Nick Saban was rooting for him. Between the stern antics of Nick Saban and the funny moments that Pat McAfee brings, one of the best parts of the show, aside from the picks at the end, is the weekly kicking contest, where each week Pat McAfee picks one student from the crowd, giving them a chance to win money. This week, the student had a shot at a Toyota from Nick Saban’s dealership, then $1 million. But he tremendously missed, both times, and was called out by McAfee.
The first kick was worth $250,000 and a new Toyota from Nick Saban's dealership. Unfortunately, it traveled less than 10 yards at best. McAfee called it the worst kick of all time.
