WATCH: Food truck fire breaks out during Wake Forest-NC State game image

One of the more bizarre incidents during this college football season happened on Thursday night.

A food truck at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium caught fire during the game between Wake Forest and NC State. The incident did not delay the game, but did cause confusion on the ESPN broadcast and for those in attendance. Smoke was billowing inside the stadium

According to CBS Sports, the food truck belongs to Choc's Barbeque Co. and Southern Catering was located on the outdoor concourse to the side of one of Wake Forest's stadium grandstands. "The fire erupted and reached the ceiling of the truck, and an ESPN cameraperson stationed on the concourse captured video of an employee tackling the flames with a fire extinguisher."

Wake Forest took a 24-17 lead over NC State going into the second half. The Demon Deacons jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead in the first quarter before NC State answered with two scores of their own.

Wake Forest's Chris Barnes returned the opening kickoff for a 98-yard touchdown. He also hauled in a 70-yard catch to set up the second score. The Wolfpack got a five-yard touchdown pass from CJ Bailey to tight end Justin Joly. Before defensive lineman Isaiah Shirley intercepted Wake Forest's Robby Ashford for a 41-yard pick six.

Hopefully, the food truck fire is the only incident in this ACC battle.
