No. 12 Vanderbilt visits No. 18 Tennessee on Saturday with a chance to secure the first 10-win season in program history.

The Commodores (9-2, 5-2 SEC) have already matched their most victories in over a century and now look to take another historic step under coach Clark Lea.

It won’t come easily in Knoxville, where Vanderbilt is just 12-41-2 all time and has managed only four wins in the past 50 years, according to ESPN.

But the Commodores bring momentum behind quarterback Diego Pavia, who's coming off a six-touchdown performance against Kentucky. A balanced Vandy offense has powered them into the SEC race deep into November.

Tennessee (8-3, 4-3 SEC) aims to close its regular season with a rivalry win and pad its bowl resume. The Volunteers have leaned on improved defensive play and steady quarterbacking from Joey Aguilar to rebound from early-season struggles. A victory would give Tennessee its second straight nine-win regular season under Josh Heupel.

The Commodores and Vols meet on Saturday afternoon (3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN).
