UCLA is off to an 0-3 start following a 35-10 loss to New Mexico at the Rose Bowl on Friday night.
The $1.2 million payout to the Lobos wasn't the worst detail of the night. The Bruins’ defense allowed 21 points in the fourth quarter after already trailing 14-10.
This is definitely a low point for DeShaun Foster in Westwood. There's not much Nico Iamaleava can do to stop the bleeding either. As expected, the keyboard warriors on social media came out in full force after the loss. However, nobody could've predicted not one, but two conferences taking shots at the Bruins.
The RedditCFB account suggested UCLA make a move to the Big Sky Conference in FCS. However, there was no love with a replay of "No thank you."

The Pac-12 Conference hopped into the action as well. They trolled their former longtime member with ease.

The conference’s social media account used the ‘That’s a shame,’ Seinfeld meme in response to the Bruins bad luck with a screenshot of the future schedule.
UCLA, USC, Oregon and Washington all left to join the Big Ten. The conference retained Washington State and Oregon State from its previous member schools. The rest have transitioned into the Big Ten, Big 12 and ACC.
Outside of the two conferences, several media members fired off their thoughts on the Bruins crash in Pasadena.
