The Dylan Raiola rumor mill is getting weird.

Including the recent involvement of the Syracuse Orange football program as a transfer portal destination.

The reality is that what appear to be multiple fake viral posts are circulating about Raiola among SU fans on X (formerly Twitter).

There have been no reports from major recruiting or college football sites or reporters about Raiola and Syracuse. It's just odd, seemingly photoshopped images of Raiola somehow being involved with Syracuse.

The Nebraska transfer QB is still lingering in the portal after a lot of other quarterbacks have signed, which is why some crazy speculation has started.

But given that Raiola was the No. 1 player in his class a few years ago, it wouldn't be shocking to see him end up with one of the teams still alive in the College Football Playoff, particularly Oregon or Miami.

Syracuse also still conceptually has a starting QB. Steve Angeli was great to start the 2025 season after transferring from Notre Dame.

As long as Angeli recovers from his torn Achilles, the Orange should be good to go. It'd be an odd spot for Raiola to enter himself into, for sure.

But in this modern era of social media, it's easy to create engagement. And Raiola is apparently low hanging fruit for Orange nation.
