Former five-star quarterback Julian Sayin chipped in a solid first start, going 13-for-20 with 126 yards and a touchdown. Sayin connected with star receiver Jeremiah Smith for six receptions and 43 yards. The tandem will aim to further their rapport on Saturday.

Meanwhile, it was an impressive debut for first-year defensive coordinator Matt Patricia, Bill Belichick's longtime DC with the Patriots. Ohio State's swarming defense frustrated Texas quarterback Arch Manning, limiting the Longhorns to a single score. 

Grambling waltzes into Ohio Stadium for its first matchup with Ohio State in program history. The Tigers enjoyed an easy 55-7 victory over Langston in Week 1, keyed by three passing touchdowns from quarterback C'zavian Teasett.
