Dylan Raiola may be the biggest name QB in the transfer portal.

The former Nebraska quarterback has a lot of suitors, and he'll have to pick a spot that's best for his development and future.

Raiola was the No. 1 QB in his high school class and originally committed to Georgia before his shocking flip to Nebraska.

Even Raiola couldn't bring the Cornhuskers back to true relevance. He had flashes of his special talent, but the overall operation couldn't get it done often enough.

That led Raiola into the transfer portal after two seasons to seek a new beginning.

The Athletic's Manny Navarro predicted this week that Raiola's fresh start will come at the University of Louisville.

"Jeff Brohm loves traditional dropback passers, and Raiola, who broke his right leg in a loss to USC in November, would benefit from working with one of the best QB whisperers in the business," Navarro writes.

There's still a bit of time before the transfer portal is officially open, but Raiola surely has considered his options pretty intensely by now.

Louisville isn't necessarily the flashiest choice. They've been a very solid program under Brohm but certainly aren't a football blue blood.

Railoa doesn't need flashy, though. He needs practical, the place where he can both win and also develop into an NFL passer.

That can happen at Louisville, for sure.
