No. 22 Missouri will be without tight end Brett Norfleet when it hosts undefeated No. 3 Texas A&M on Saturday in Columbia, according to ESPN's Eli Lederman.
Norfleet reportedly suffered a separated shoulder in the Tigers’ 17-10 loss at Vanderbilt on Oct. 25. He was initially thought to be day-to-day, but the injury has lingering. One of the key weapons in Missouri’s offense going down with backup QB Matt Zollers getting the start.
Norfleet leads all SEC tight ends with five touchdown receptions and ranks third on the team with 26 receptions. His absence further complicates Missouri’s offensive game plan as the Tigers prepare for the unbeaten Aggies.
Zollers takes over for quarterback Beau Pribula, who dislocated his ankle at Vanderbilt. The freshman phenom in the 2025 class will make his first career start against a Texas A&M defense that allows 321.5 total yards per game.
“For our team, it’s about helping Matt execute at the highest level possible,” Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz said earlier in the week.
