Growing up, if you ever played high school sports and the head coach's daughter also attended your school, it was generally understood that she was off-limits to romance. This is also a common trope in sports movies and television shows.
There wasn't really any instruction about dating the daughter of the head coach of a rival school.
Lane Kiffin has been the head coach at Ole Miss since 2020. He has three kids, and his oldest daughter is named Landry. It was revealed that Landry is not dating an Ole Miss player, but instead, is dating a star player for the rival LSU Tigers.

Who is Whit Weeks?
You may recognize Weeks from the Netflix docuseries "Any Given Saturday." He was frequently interviewed when the show was discussing LSU. He is also 20 years old and has been with the Tigers since 2023. Weeks plays middle linebacker and is considered the captain of the defense. Much of the docuseries focused on how bad the Tigers defense was in 2023, with Weeks taking up the mantle of turning it around in 2024. That didn't end up happening, but in 2025 it finally looks like Weeks has the defense in order.
Weeks, a junior, will be eligible for the 2026 NFL Draft. He is expected to be an early pick, with some projecting him to even slide into the end of the first round if he plays well throughout the 2025 NFL season.
