Kansas State star running back Dylan Edwards has been cleared to play in Friday night's game at Arizona, according to a report by ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Edwards' suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter against Iowa State in the Week 0 matchup in Dublin, Ireland. He has missed the past two weeks against North Dakota and Army. He was considered questionable earlier in the week by coach Chris Klieman, but got the go ahead.
The Colorado transfer is one of the most electric players in the nation. Edwards set freshman records with Deion Sanders' team in 2023, but opted to be closer to home. He has brought a different element to Kansas State' offense. Edwards averaged 7.4 yards per carry last season with seven total touchdowns.
Kansas State comes into the Big 12 affair in a must-win situation, having lost to Iowa State and Army last week. With Edwards back, the Wildcats get a much-needed boost in the backfield.
Arizona hosts K-State in the desert after dark (9 p.m. ET, TV: FOX).
