Is there a halftime show during the College Football Playoff championship game?
Yes, however, it will be different from last season's. The marching bands for Ohio State and Notre Dame were supposed to be the focal point of the halftime show, until ESPN agreed to have Travis Scott debut a new song of his.
This year, the CFP is taking an approach that celebrates the pageantry of college football. The spotlight will fully be on the artists from their respective universities.
The Hoosier and Hurricane bands will provide the soundtrack for the mid-game break with their school fight songs, which capture the spirit of college football.
