There are 80 bowl bids available this season, and as we enter the final week the number of bowl eligible teams has climbed to 72. Let’s look at which teams have the best chance to earn one of the final eight spots.

ACC — 11 teams

California, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami (FL), NC State, Pittsburgh, SMU, Virginia, Wake Forest, and Duke.

American — 7 teams

East Carolina, Memphis, Navy, North Texas, South Florida, Tulane, and UTSA.

Big Ten — 11 teams

Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oregon, USC, and Washington.

Big 12 — 9 teams

Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, Iowa State, TCU, Texas Tech, and Utah.
