As the holidays approach, that means one thing in college football: bowl games.
Yep, bowl season is just around the corner.
The official bowl assignments aren't known until Sunday, but college football insider Brett McMurphy is getting ahead of things.
He has already reported a bunch of bowl assignments, including the four we're looking at here: USF, Hawaii, Washington and Old Dominion.
These are four teams that had intriguing seasons, good enough to get a postseason game.

McMurphy has two of the teams here set to match up with one another.
South Florida, aka the USF Bulls, will play in the Cure Bowl on Dec. 17 in Orlando. There, they will take on Old Dominion in a fun matchup.
Hawaii, as expected, will play in the Hawai'i Bowl. That takes place on Christmas Eve in Honolulu. The Rainbow Warriors will host Cal, with the Golden Bears bringing their true freshman quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele to the island.
Washington starts with the first bowl of bowl season. They'll play in the LA Bowl on Dec. 13 in Inglewood, California. They know their opponent: Boise State.
More matchups will roll out in the next 36 hours or so, but it's fun to already know these ones.
