Bowl season begins soon, and on Sunday, the Golden Gophers and Wildcats each learned where they'd be heading.

Minnesota will be playing in the Rate Bowl.
It's played on Dec. 26.
The Golden Gophers will take on New Mexico.

Northwestern will play on the same date, Dec. 26.
They play in the GameAbove Sports Bowl.
They'll take on a MAC opponent, Central Michigan.
Northwestern kicks off at 1 p.m. ET, with Minnesota kicking off at 4 p.m. ET.
