Bowl games were all announced on Sunday.
For two former Conference USA teams now plying their trade in bigger conferences, Louisville and Memphis, it's a chance to add one more win to their season.
For a time early in the season, both may have wondered if they had a darkhorse chance at the College Football Playoff.
Instead, they'll head to different postseason events.

What is Louisville's bowl game?
The Louisville Cardinals will play in the Bush's Boca Raton Bowl.
That takes place on Dec. 23 at 2 p.m.
Louisville will take on Toledo out of the MAC.
The Rockets are consistently one of the best programs in their league. They'll be reeling for the bowl game, though. They lost head coach Jason Candle to UConn, and their defensive coordinator is leaving for Syracuse.
If Louisville gets all its players onto the field for the bowl game, the Cardinals should be favored.
What is Memphis' bowl game?
Memphis will play in the Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl.
The Tigers will take on NC State.
That game will be played at 3:30 p.m. On Dec. 19 on ESPN.
