Arch Manning's first season as Texas' full-time starter has been an adventure of sorts. The Longhorns signal-caller entered the year basking in adulation, with many crowning him the Heisman Trophy frontrunner.
That didn't come into fruition, in the end. Manning showed flashes of brilliance during his maiden season as Texas starter. But he was also felled by inconsistency as the Longhorns fell short of the College Football Playoff.
Manning already announced his intention to return to campus come 2026. He'll get one more chance to flaunt his talent before the end of his redshirt sophomore season on New Year's Eve when the Longhorns take on Michigan in the Citrus Bowl.
