His peak passing performance occurred during his freshman year in 2019, when he accumulated 2,509 yards, 34 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. Amidst Arch Manning's widely publicized difficulties, social media has buzzed with discussions about some of his high school game footage. Certain clips that have gained traction suggest Manning wasn't facing top-tier opponents.

Manning skipped recruiting events such as Elite 11 and Under Armour All-American. Consequently, fans primarily rely on his high school game film and recruiting ranking to assess his high school football performance.

Isidore Newman's record featuring Arch Manning

During his four years coaching Newman, Manning achieved a 33-6 overall win-loss record and guided his squad to a district title in 2020. His teams qualified for the postseason in all four of his seasons.

Regarding the level of competition, there are questions.

Based on the latest LHSAA district realignments, Newman competes in 2A, specifically in district 10 within New Orleans. The LHSAA's classification system extends up to Class 5A, meaning Newman is positioned in the second-lowest competitive level statewide. 

Edna Kerr, Ruston, John Curtis, and St. Augustine are among Louisiana's top high school football programs competing at the 5A classification.

NFL stars from Isidore Newman

It's not particularly surprising that Arch Manning is attending Isidore. He was born in New Orleans, and his uncles Peyton and Eli also attended Isidore. 

Isidore also coached former LSU and NFL standout receiver Odell Beckham Jr., alongside former Giants receiver Omar Douglas. 

Peyton Manning's statistics from his high school career 

During his three-year high school tenure, Peyton Manning threw for 7,207 yards and 92 touchdowns, as reported by Knoxville News-Sentinel. He also added 13 rushing touchdowns. Newman achieved a 34-5 record under his leadership, reaching the playoffs each of those three seasons.

According to an archived ESPN article from 2012, Manning threw for 7,421 yards with over 80 touchdowns at Newman.
