Anyone hoping to see Michigan Wolverines quarterback Bryce Underwood's backflip celebration will have to wait. Underwood revealed on Thursday that coach Sherrone Moore has currently banned the move.

When On3's J.D. PicKell asked the freshman if he planned to do the celebration anytime soon, he replied,

“No. The first day I got here, Coach Moore straight up said, ‘No backflips. I have no time for you getting hurt.’ That’s unfortunate, so who knows if it might come or not? It still might be a possibility because sometimes (he’ll) give me a pass here or there.”

Underwood has hinted he might do the backflip if Coach Moore gives the green light. So, fans could see it eventually, but it likely won't happen early in the season.

Underwood also addressed a recent comparison, including a nickname from Michigan interim head coach Biff Poggi last week, who called him Batman.

“I mean, Batman, that was the first time I ever heard somebody compare me to Batman,” Underwood said. “So it’s like a win-win, honestly. So I’ll take that.”

Seeing a backflip in a Batman suit would be an interesting sight. Underwood should definitely consider it.
