It's a slow day for both Miami and Texas A&M, going majority of the game, into the fourth quarter with just a field goal from Miami. However, there have been numerous scoring opportunities on both sides, including multiple field goal attempts.

Who is Miami's kicker? Carter Davis and Bert Auburn

Miami's place-kicker is Carter Davis, who's successfully converted 14 of 16 field-goal attempts and all 41 extra-point attempts this season as they head into the College Football Playoff.

Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds, Davis is in his senior year and is a transfer from Florida Atlantic University (FAU). However, during the Texas A&M game, he's trending. He missed three field goals, setting a College Football Playoff record for the most misses in a single game.

Miami has a backup kicker named Bert Auburn, who transferred from the University of Texas. Auburn spent four seasons at Texas from 2021 to 2024. During his career there, he completed 76 percent of his field goals, making 66 of 86 attempts, including 24 from 40 yards or longer.
