Rueben Bain, the Miami Hurricanes' star defensive lineman, showed his playful side after the team's 26-7 win over the Florida Gators on Saturday night. During a postgame interview with 104.3 WQAM, Bain took a light jab at Florida coach Billy Napier while sharing a fun detail about the team's postgame meal.

Bain revealed that the Hurricanes' postgame menu included barbecued alligator.

“I’m eating some barbecued gator from Gainesville, man,” Bain laughed. “Billy Napier‘s finest.”

Everything tastes better when you're coming off a win like that against your rivals.

During the game, Florida attempted several comeback pushes, but Miami's defense stood firm.

“Football is football,” Bain said. “Some guys, they come in and they're on scholarship too, so they’re going to make plays too. The coaches they are on us that whatever happens to stick together, and that’s what happened. Ups and downs throughout the games. But we stuck together and we still played a complete game as a team.”

Miami improved to 4-0 with the win over Florida and will now enjoy a bye week in Week 5. Their next test comes in Week 6 when they face the undefeated Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee on Oct. 4.
