Colorado transfer Jordan Seaton will head to Baton Rouge to play for Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers, according to an announcement on his Instagram.
LSU, Oregon and Miami were all in pursuit of the left tackle, who was the No. 1 offensive lineman and a top-five overall player in the On3 transfer rankings.
The recruitment intensified Tuesday as LSU's Lane Kiffin boarded a private plane to Washington, D.C., and later Atlanta. Seaton is from the D.C. Area and still has family there after finishing his high school career at IMG Academy in Florida before signing with Deion Sanders and Colorado.
“The number for Colorado OL Jordan Seaton is between $4–5 million,” WVUE TV's Garland Gillen reported on social media. This is Kiffin's biggest signing to date since arriving on campus before the postseason.
After a multi-day visit in Baton Rouge, Seaton traveled to Atlanta, where he has trained in the offseason with Pro Football Hall of Famer Willie Anderson. Seaton canceled a previously planned visit to Oregon while on LSU’s campus.
