At this point, college football fans probably wouldn't put anything past Lane Kiffin.
That includes the idea of adding someone like Chad Ochocinco, the former Cincinnati Bengals mercurial star wide receiver, to his coaching staff at his new gig with the LSU Tigers.
In fact, that's a rumor that has been swirling on social media, sort of.
The reality is that any speculation around Ochocinco to LSU comes from a fake post.

The post below, from the parody account 274Sports, says Ochocinco is joining Kiffin. It's not real news.

When a coach makes a move like this, he has to form a new staff quickly. There is recruiting to get after, both in the transfer portal and the high school ranks.
Ochocinco, aka Chad Johnson, would certainly bring with him a lot of name value if he ever decided to join a college football coaching staff. But that doesn't appear to be in the cards right now.
It's just a post intended to go viral doing just that, latching onto the news of the weekend with Kiffin and putting an outlandish name along with it.
