Brian Kelly rips reporter for asking the wrong question after LSU's win image

LSU coach Brian Kelly wasn't in the mood to deal with foolishness.

The No. 3 Tigers beat Florida, 20-10 on Saturday night, which left Kelly on the defensive. In the post game press conference, one question came up about LSU's offensive output. One touchdown with seven punts isn't great. But Kelly wasn't having it.

“Stop,” Kelly said. “Really? Is that the first question? We won the game 20-10. Try another question... You are looking at this from the wrong perspective.

“LSU won the football game. Won the game. I don’t know what you want from me. What do you want? You want us to win 70-0 against Florida to keep you happy?

Kelly tried to keep his composure but seemed genuinely irritated.

“Those are ridiculous questions. And I am getting tired of it. That football team just worked their tail off to get an SEC win and you want to know what’s wrong. You know what? You’re spoiled.

The Tigers offense has not met expectations. But being a top five team is where Kelly's focus is right now.

"I see it so differently than you guys," Kelly said. "You want to immediately attack it. They found a way to win. If you guys don’t like that, I really don’t care. Because I am so happy for those guys."

Garrett Nussmeier came into the season with plenty of hype. So far, he has 689 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. A far cry from matching his 4,052 yards last season. Kelly raved about his development, especially down the field. However, LSU's offense hasn't played a complete game thus far.

The Tigers will host SE Louisiana in an SEC slate warm-up on Saturday (7:45 p.m., SEC Network)
