Maybe there isn't a clear national title favorite in the 2025 college football season.

But there's a whole heck of a lot of magic to go around.

Take the seasons happening for Indiana, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Navy. All of them are the rarest of the rare. And they've certainly never happened all at once.

Ben Scott Stevens shared these below stats on X, capturing, as he writes, that, "College football in 2025 is AWESOME."

The Indiana Hoosiers are 7-0 in back-to-back seasons for the first time ever. Curt Cignetti has been an absolute inspiration for IU.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are also 7-0. They haven't been at that mark since 1966.

The Vanderbilt Commodores have started 6-1 after their Saturday win over LSU. It's the first 6-1 start for Vandy since 1950.

The Virginia Cavaliers are 6-1, as well. It's their first 6-1 start since 2007, as transfer quarterback Chandler Morris has led the way.

And the Navy Midshipmen are 6-0 in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 1978-79. QB Blake Horvath and backs Eli Heidenrich and Alex Tecza have been special for the last two seasons.

As a neutral watcher of the sport, it's a really fun thing. It's always fun to root for the underdogs. And when the underdogs are suddenly good, it's even more fun.

Fans of these teams are hoping they can crash the College Football Playoff party. At this point, a few very well might.
