“We schedule them, the ones that want to leave. We schedule them.” The words of Georgia head coach Kirby Smart on players who transfer from UGA because of physicality.

Smart insisted on scheduling these teams which are the schools that previous UGA players have transferred to. The concept of eat or be eaten is something the Bulldogs have displayed through their play under the Bulldogs coach. Coming off a 35-10 heavyweight win over Texas, Georgia has picked up momentum since their Week 4 loss to the Crimson Tide.

A close defeat that ended a monumental 33 home winning streak for the Bulldogs. Since then Junior QB Gunner Stockton has increased his performance and now holds a 70.7 percent completion percentage with 19 passing touchdowns and 8 rushing on the season. Stockton is the epitome of tough and resilient, after taking a tough hit vs Texas last year in the SEC championship game. It’s safe to say, he threw the blows in the matchup last Saturday. He accounted for all five touchdowns (four passing and one rushing). Leading his team in this fashion should have him in talks of being in New York in early December.

Smart also mentioned that a Heisman run comes with this level of success. “You don’t run from hard in life, you run from hard in life you’ll find more hard.”

Being 9-1 on the season, Georgia has a highly anticipated matchup with in-state rival Georgia Tech on Nov. 28th at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. This match up will be one for the history books on how the College Football Playoff was set up in the 2025 season.
