Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium had a slightly different look during Saturday’s Georgia-Ole Miss matchup, as Delta Air Lines became the first corporation to have its logo displayed on the field.
The University of Georgia announced Monday an expanded partnership with Delta that will feature two Delta logos positioned at the 25-yard lines in the southwest and northeast sections of the field.
“We are thrilled to have Delta represented on Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium,” said Georgia athletic director Josh Brooks. “With the ongoing transformation of college athletics, partnerships like ours with Delta continue to enhance the experience for our student-athletes, fans, and the entire Georgia community.”

Delta is a long-standing UGA partner and was already one of the school’s most visible sponsors. “The Bulldogs’ commitment to excellence perfectly aligns with Delta’s passion for connecting people and communities,” said Alicia Tillman, the company’s chief marketing officer.
The deal was facilitated by Georgia Bulldogs Sports Marketing, which is managed through Learfield and JMI Sports. “This collaboration marks another exciting step in connecting fans and partners across the Georgia Bulldog community,” said Ryan Gribble, the group’s chief revenue officer.
Georgia joins a growing list of programs expanding on college football's marketing front. The trend is expected to skyrocket, especially with NIL opportunities flooding the landscape.
No. 9 Georgia upset No. 5 Ole Miss 43-35. The Bulldogs will move up in tomorrow's AP Top 25 poll, but by how many spots?
