Deion Sanders’ first grandchild, Snow, has already made a mark on the Colorado Buffaloes season. Born August 9, 2024, to Coach Prime’s daughter Deiondra and her fiancé Jacquees, he has appeared at games in Boulder and become a small but noticeable presence around Coach Prime’s program.

On the latest episode of Coach Prime’s Playbook with Romi Bean, Sanders cracked that his grandson might have worn out his welcome. “Bucky (Deion Jr.) said he was banned,” Sanders laughed. “I hate to ban my only grandchild. But I don’t really believe in the superstitions and all like that. When I saw it, I thought it was humorous when Bucky goes, ‘Snow, you got to go, dog.’”

The Colorado coach doubled down with a grin, calling out the toddler’s personality. “Snow’s a little meanie though, man. He don’t have the respect that he should for old grandpa. And I say, ‘Now you know you’re going to need something. You know you going to need me.’”

Sanders, speaking candidly with Romi Bean, made clear that the playful “ban” was all in good fun. He admitted how much he enjoys sharing the spotlight with family. “That’s awesome,” he said. “I talk to him like he’s a grown man. You know, trust fund, you know you going to need me.”

For Sanders, the joke was another reminder that even in the pressure cooker of Big 12 football, there is room for family and laughter. Snow may not yet understand his grandfather’s celebrity, but he has already become part of the Buffaloes’ storyline.

So will Snow really be banned from Folsom Field? Not likely. If anything, the youngest Sanders has secured a place as one of Colorado’s most memorable sideline stars.
