Miami Heat star Tyler Herro has had a stellar career since coming to the NBA. Herro played just one season with the Kentucky Wildcats before being selected No. 13 overall in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Now, his younger brother, Myles, is set to begin his college basketball career. On Monday, Myles Herro decided to play at Ohio State, per Joe Tipton of On3

Myles is a three-star point guard in the Class of 2025 who played his high school basketball at Whitnall High School in Wisconsin.

Herro told Tipton why he chose Ohio State for his college destination: “I chose Ohio State because it felt like the right fit for me, both on and off the court,” he said. “The opportunity to grow in a program like this, compete at a high level, and be part of something special really stood out. Coach Diebler and his staff were real with me from the start."

Joel Justus, who is an associate coach at Ohio State, spent seven seasons as an assistant at Kentucky, including the one season Tyler Herro was in Lexington, so there's also a connection there.

Herro didn't have a ton of offers but did have some from Cal Poly, Western Illinois, and Southern Illinois, but he is now headed to Columbus.

In 2024-25, Ohio State finished 17-15 overall with a 9-11 record in Big Ten Conference play, and it will be interesting to see how much Herro plays in his first season with the Buckeyes.
