Hansel Enmanuel, one-armed Austin Peay guard, enters transfer portal image

Hansel Enmanuel is in the transfer portal.

His name is well known because of his highlight-reel high school basketball career as a one-armed star.

Enmanuel began his career at Northwestern State, and he more recently has been at Austin Peay.

On3's Joe Tipton reported Wednesday night the news that Enmanuel is entering the portal.

Enmanuel has played in 11 games this season for Austin Peay and averaged 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds per game in 6.5 minutes on average.

He's a 6-foot-6 senior out of the Dominican Republic.

He played for head coach Corey Gipson at both Northwestern State and now at Austin Peay.

Enmanuel had one arm amputated as a child after an accident.

He gained a huge social media following in high school and had major brand deals.

His high school career took place at Life Christian Academy in Kissimmee, Florida, where he averaged 25.9 points, 11.0 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game as a senior.

The midseason transfer portal entry isn't that common, but Enmanuel is likely looking at one more season of college hoops once he finds his new home.

Austin Peay, the team Enmanuel is departing, is 10-5 this season, including 4-0 in the Atlantic Sun.
